Recently, the Liaoning Provincial Department of Education issued the "Notice on the Announcement of the Winners of the 2025 Liaoning Provincial Undergraduate Teaching Achievement Exhibition Competition" (Liaojiao Tong [2026] No. 79). Our university performed outstandingly, winning one first prize and five second prizes through solid teaching reform practices and distinctive educational features, fully demonstrating our fruitful achievements and educational strength in the field of undergraduate teaching reform.

The award-winning achievements span multiple disciplines, including engineering and arts, embodying the dedication and hard work of all educators who remain steadfast in their commitment to nurturing students and excel in frontline teaching. These accomplishments vividly demonstrate our university's long-term adherence to a student-centered approach, deepening educational reforms and enhancing the quality of talent cultivation.  Among them, the first prize-winning achievement—"Industrial-Education Symbiosis and Digital Intelligence Empowerment: Innovative Practices in Applied Talent Cultivation for Modern Industrial Colleges Targeting Advanced Manufacturing"—is rooted in our university's applied-oriented educational mission. It precisely aligns with Liaoning's "Digital Liaoning, Intelligent Manufacturing Strong Province" development goals and the needs of the advanced manufacturing sector. Guided by the OBE (Outcome-Based Education) philosophy, it establishes a new paradigm for applied talent cultivation featuring "four-stage progression and dual-core driving," achieving breakthroughs in innovative talent cultivation models, teaching system reconstruction, and deep integration of industry and education. After seven years of practical testing, this achievement effectively addresses challenges such as the misalignment between educational content and industrial technology, as well as the mismatch between skill training and interdisciplinary demands, fully showcasing our university's leadership in applied talent cultivation within the field of advanced manufacturing.  Five second prize-winning achievements cover diverse areas, including industrial college education models, professional digital-industry symbiotic cultivation systems, digital applied talent cultivation models, and interdisciplinary teaching practices. These accomplishments explore and establish a series of replicable and scalable teaching reform experiences, providing robust support for enhancing undergraduate education quality.

For many years, our university has consistently prioritized undergraduate education as the core of its governance and development. Aligning with the needs of Liaoning's "2211" modern industrial system construction, we have diligently pursued and collaborated in industry-education integration and university-enterprise cooperation, driving educational reforms forward with practical measures. The university will continue to deepen teaching reforms, refine its talent cultivation model, and fully leverage its exemplary leadership role. We aim to inspire more faculty to remain committed to teaching, focus on nurturing students, and cultivate high-quality applied talents who possess both virtue and competence, as well as the unity of knowledge and action, thereby contributing to Liaoning's comprehensive revitalization and all-round development.
