On March 26, Shenyang Institute of Technology hosted its 2026 Spring Job Fair at the university’s gymnasium, featuring a large-scale supply-demand matching event. Over 200 renowned enterprises from across China brought more than 5,000 premium job openings to campus, spanning fields such as intelligent manufacturing, artificial intelligence, information technology, automotive engineering, new materials, finance, and cultural innovation, creating a high-quality employment platform for the graduating class of 2026.
The participating enterprises in this job fair are of high quality with well-paying positions. Among the 208 companies, there are Fortune 500 enterprises such as Fuyao Group, We’'s Group, Chery, Muyuan, and Tsingtao Brewery, as well as central state-owned enterprises like China Electronics Technology Group, COFCO Group, Wazhou Group, and China Metallurgical Group, along with a number of industry leaders, listed companies, and high-tech enterprises. The enterprises are widely distributed geographically, covering not only high-quality enterprises from various cities within the province but also attracting employers from economically developed regions such as Beijing, Shanghai, Guangdong, Jiangsu, and Zhejiang. The job demands cover all major disciplines at our university, with particular demand in fields such as intelligent manufacturing, artificial intelligence, and agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry, and fisheries.
Hu Xiaomei, Secretary of the Party Committee of the university, and Vice President Xu Ying visited the job fair site, engaging in cordial exchanges with employers and graduates to gain detailed insights into corporate recruitment needs and graduate employment status. The Admissions and Employment Office, along with deans, secretaries, counselors, and faculty members from various secondary colleges, provided targeted guidance to graduates on-site, facilitated in-depth collaboration with enterprises, and actively recommended outstanding graduates.
This job fair has specially set up a “Modern Industry College Eco-Partner Enterprises” zone. Twenty industry college eco-partner enterprises that deeply participate in the entire talent cultivation process of our university have gathered here, serving as a high-quality platform for graduates to achieve seamless integration between "academics" and "career". The participating enterprises include Huawei's wholly-owned subsidiary Shenzhen Huitong, Midea Group’s wholly-owned subsidiary Meiyun Zhishu, as well as Kuka-authorized industrial robot college eco-partners such as Fuyao Group, Muyuan Food, Lingyun Automobile, and Greenzehbach Machinery, along with Aiant Intelligent Manufacturing Industry College eco-partners like Aiant Technology and Makazhi Technology. These enterprises have engaged in in-depth cooperation with our university in areas such as modern industry college construction, talent cultivation, and technology research and development, providing students with a “direct route” from classroom to workplace.
Tang Jianmin, a member of the Jingjiang CNC Society, stated, “During daily club activities, I engaged in practical tasks related to the Aiant project. The handmade products met corporate delivery standards, which instilled a sense of pride and allowed me to tangibly experience the substantial improvement in my operational skills.”
To help graduates gain a comprehensive understanding of employment policies, the university has specially invited human resources and social security departments from 13 cities across the province to set up on-site consultation zones, providing “one-stop”policy advisory services. Staff from local HR authorities offered detailed explanations on key issues such as document transfer procedures, household registration policies, housing subsidies, and entrepreneurship support, bringing employment services directly to students' doorstep.
“This streamlined approach is truly excellent. Policies that previously required coordination across multiple departments can now be fully clarified in one place,” remarked Liu Fengwei, a 2022 Business Administration student from the School of Economics and Management. “The HR department staff were exceptionally patient and even recommended several suitable positions for me.”
To further enhance graduates’ job-seeking competitiveness, the career fair featured specialized service zones including interview coaching booths, resume printing stations, and live-streamed job recruitment platforms. Career counselors from the Admissions and Employment Office provided one-on-one resume revisions and interview strategy guidance, while on-site printing facilities ensured instant resume preparation. The live-streamed recruitment section utilized digital platforms to showcase premium job opportunities, enabling remote graduates to participate in virtual job searches without physical presence.
According to preliminary statistics, employers at this job fair received over 6,000 resumes and initially reached employment agreements with nearly 500 candidates. Some companies conducted on-site interviews and signed contracts with outstanding graduates immediately.
“ Graduates from Shenyang Institute of Technology demonstrate solid professional foundations, strong practical skills, and high overall competence, which perfectly align with our talent requirements,” said Huang Peijie, HR of Meiyun Zhishu Technology Co., Ltd. "This year, we plan to recruit 49 backend developers, algorithm engineers, and implementation consultants for domestic and international projects, and have received numerous high-quality resumes during our recruitment process.”
This job fair represents a key initiative by the university to thoroughly implement the CPC Central Committee and State Council’s policies on “stabilizing employment” and “ensuring job security,” while demonstrating tangible progress in deepening industry-education integration and advancing the development of modern industrial colleges. Moving forward, the university will continue organizing recruitment campaigns, enhance employment guidance services with meticulous attention to detail, and make every effort to facilitate more comprehensive and higher-quality employment opportunities for the 2026 graduating class.
