On December 21st, the "Decoding China's Professional Development and Expanding the Future through Practice" Thailand Youth Study Program was officially launched. A delegation of 15 renowned teachers and students from the former Royal Thai University of Technology visited our university for a two-week exchange and learning journey. This activity is not only an important measure for our school to expand foreign exchange and cooperation, but also a new breakthrough in deeply integrating into the "the Belt and Road" initiative and firmly promoting the coordinated development of international industry, university, research and application.
On the morning of December 22nd, the opening ceremony of the winter visiting group of the Study Abroad Program was held in the lecture hall of the School of International Education. At the ceremony, the host provided a detailed introduction to Shenyang's long and rich history as well as its unique and charming culture. In the game segment of "Guessing and Guessing Chinese Characters", Thai students actively participated and gained a preliminary understanding of the wisdom contained in Chinese character pictograms through fun games. The traditional Chinese music performance brought by the school folk band immersed Thai teachers and students in it. The runway performance brought by the Hanfu Society showcases the elegance and grace of Hanfu to the fullest. The dynamic performance of the school street dance club fully demonstrates the vigorous vitality of Chinese youth. After the ceremony, the school presented customized souvenirs to Thai teachers and students, using objects as a medium to convey the profound friendship that transcends national borders.
The school has always been committed to cultivating high-quality application-oriented talents with an international perspective, actively strengthening international exchanges and cooperation with countries along the "the Belt and Road", and fully promoting the international development process of the school. The carefully crafted study course this time is unique. The course is based on the Modern Industry College of the school as the core platform, fully leveraging the advantages of industry university research integration resources, and adopting an English teaching mode throughout the entire process, accurately aligning with the professional training objectives of Thailand's Sun Yat sen University of Technology. The course modules cover core content closely related to professional practical needs such as industrial robots and PLCs, as well as professional general courses such as artificial intelligence technology, drone application technology, and Meiyun intelligent data management platform. Cultural experience projects such as ceramic production and calligraphy study are also integrated. At the same time, on-site visits to museums and science museums are arranged, allowing Thai teachers and students to experience the profound heritage of Chinese traditional culture and the vigorous vitality of technological innovation in immersive learning.
The Thai teachers and students visiting the school also visited the modern industry schools and practice teaching centers of our school, such as Shen Gong Southern Surveying and Mapping Beidou Space Time Information Industry College, Advanced Manufacturing Center, Automotive Practice Teaching Center, Huawei Shen Gong Modern Industry College, Preschool Education Experiment Teaching Center, Intelligent High speed Five axis Practice Base, Inspur Industrial Internet College Joint Innovation Center, Shen Gong Midea Digital Beacon College, Shen Gong Siemens College, Kuka Authorized Industrial Robot College, etc.
During the study period, a visiting group of Thai teachers and students will conduct systematic and professional knowledge learning and practical skills training at these modern industrial colleges and practical teaching centers.
