On January 15th, the 2025 College Graduates Employment Association Annual Conference and the third National College Students' Employment and Entrepreneurship Expo, hosted by the College Graduates Employment Association, was held in Shanghai. Our college's president, Li Kangju, was invited to attend and deliver a keynote speech titled "Exploration of the Talent Cultivation Model of Industry-Education Integration in the Context of the Digital Intelligence Era", systematically sharing the college's development strategies, educational achievements, innovative practices in the construction of modern industrial colleges, and the high-quality employment situation of students in the digital intelligence era, which attracted widespread attention.
In the report, President Li Kangju elaborated in depth on three core sections: the impact of the changing situation on universities, the achievements of modern industrial college construction, and the improvement of talent cultivation quality. He pointed out that the current global transformation driven by digital and intelligent technologies is reshaping the industrial landscape. The rapid development of cutting-edge technologies such as 5G, artificial intelligence, and the Internet of Things has posed new challenges to talent cultivation in universities. Cultivating high-quality and versatile talents who can adapt to the digital and intelligent era has become a common topic in the global education community. Private universities need to take the initiative to change and accelerate the pace of digital transformation.
In terms of the construction of modern industrial colleges, our school has successfully established 19 modern industrial colleges by integrating high-quality resources from both schools and enterprises, and reaching in-depth cooperation with leading domestic and international enterprises such as Huawei, Midea, Rockwell Automation, Huazhong Numerical Control, Kuka, and Inspur. Based on the Huawei Ascend system, our school has achieved full-chain collaboration across all colleges. Relying on these industrial colleges, the school has innovatively created a "six-sharing and five-integration" school-enterprise collaborative education model, where both schools and enterprises jointly develop talent training programs, develop characteristic courses, and build an education system that closely aligns with industry needs. To strengthen the construction of teacher teams, the school has conducted more than 100 professional ability improvement training, covering more than 2,000 teachers, of which more than 1,000 have passed industry standard exams, providing solid support for high-quality teaching.
In terms of talent cultivation effectiveness, our school closely follows the technological development trends of enterprises, continuously updates course content, introduces the latest technical standards and industry cases, and enhances the practicality and forward-looking nature of courses. Enterprises dispatch experienced engineers and technical experts to deeply participate in teaching and practical training guidance. Through the "enterprise projects in the classroom" model, students are directly involved in actual project research and development, effectively enhancing their innovation ability and practical level. At the same time, our school actively expands cooperation within the enterprise ecosystem, deepens industry-education integration and achievement transformation, explores diverse internship and employment resources, and through international empowerment, collaborates with universities in multiple countries along the "Belt and Road" to cultivate international application talents with "major&language" skills. The "order-based" and "customized" training modes precisely align with enterprise needs, resulting in a shortage of students in order classes and high-quality employment for graduates.
A series of solid measures have yielded fruitful results in terms of employment quality. The core quality indicators of school graduates' employment have continued to improve comprehensively: the implementation rate of initial job placements has remained at a high level in the province for the past three years; the consistency between employment satisfaction and career expectations has risen significantly, and students' sense of career achievement has been notably enhanced; the correlation between job and major has continued to improve, fully demonstrating the high alignment between the school's major settings, talent cultivation, and industry needs. Employers' overall satisfaction with graduates has remained at 100% for three consecutive years. The proportion of graduates from the 2025 cohort employed by top-tier enterprises in the industry, Fortune Global 500 companies, and China's Top 500 enterprises has steadily increased, highlighting the strong competitiveness of graduates in the high-end employment market. In the 2025 soft science survey on Chinese college students' satisfaction, the school successfully ranked among the top 20 in the national "employment support" module satisfaction, becoming one of only two private universities in the country to make it to this list, marking our school's employment service work has received national authoritative recognition.
Participating in this conference and delivering a keynote speech not only showcased our college's exploration achievements and leading edge in the field of industry-education integration talent cultivation in the digital and intelligent era, but also provided valuable practical experience for the high-quality development of private universities nationwide. In the future, our college will continue to deepen cooperation between schools and enterprises, innovate education models, and continuously enhance the quality of talent cultivation and employment service levels.
