On November 14, Zhou Bo, Chairman of Chongqing Art Engineering Vocational College, led a delegation to our university for an inspection and exchange visit. The two sides held in-depth discussions on topics including institutional platform development, school-enterprise collaboration, and educational advancement, while also exploring potential future cooperation. Wang Zhaobao, Chairman of our university, participated in the symposium.
At the symposium, Wang Zhaobao extended a warm welcome to Zhou Bo and his delegation, sharing the universitys cooperation experience with enterprises such as Huawei and Midea. He pointed out that the current faculty level still has room for improvement and cannot fully meet the development needs of the industry college, emphasizing the need to strengthen the cultivation of "dual-qualified" teachers. In terms of school-enterprise cooperation, the university has jointly established an industry college with Huawei, accumulating rich experience in faculty training, laboratory construction, and curriculum design. Meanwhile, the university actively introduces intelligent agents to assist teaching, promoting personalized learning models through the provision of high-quality course resources and the establishment of teaching standards. Additionally, Wang Zhaobao stressed that private institutions should place greater emphasis on the effective use of teaching revenue to ensure the rational allocation of educational resources.
Zhou Bo introduced the basic situation of Chongqing Art Engineering Vocational College, particularly emphasizing the schools achievements in building four platforms for industry-education integration, skills competitions, innovation and entrepreneurship, and international exchanges, which have provided strong support for the schools development, enrollment, and employment, with the initial employment rate of students consistently maintaining a high level. In terms of school-enterprise cooperation, the school has conducted in-depth collaboration with multiple enterprises in various professional fields and jointly organized exhibition activities with institutions such as Chongqing Film Group. In the future, the school plans to cooperate with Huawei again to host exhibitions and looks forward to exploring a new model of "school-school cooperation" with Shenyang Institute of Technology to jointly promote high-quality development of education.
Before the symposium, Zhou Bo and his delegation visited the Digital Lighthouse College of Shenyang University of Technology-Midea, the Practical Teaching Center of the College of Preschool Education, and the Huawei-Shenyang University of Technology Modern Industry College.
