On September 26th, the 2025 Pujiang Innovation Forum Liaoning Branch Forum and Northeast Asia Technology Cooperation Exchange Conference were held at the Liaoning Friendship Hotel in Shenyang. During the forum, our university signed a cooperation agreement with Novosibirsk State Technical University for joint training of master's students. Both sides will work together to build a high-level talent joint training system and promote the development of international education and technological innovation. According to the agreement, the two universities will focus on the core goal of "cultivating high-level talents with international perspectives and technological innovation capabilities", and collaborate deeply throughout the entire process of talent cultivation: jointly developing master's degree training plans to ensure that the curriculum system is in line with international standards; Sharing high-quality educational resources, including faculty, teaching facilities, research platforms, etc; Regularly carrying out academic exchange activities, building a bridge for cross-border academic dialogue between teachers and students, and assisting both sides in the coordinated development of international talent cultivation and technology fields.
After the signing ceremony, Li Kangju gave a detailed introduction to our school's achievements in international education and the integration of industry and education during a media interview. He stated that the school has always been guided by the national strategy for the digital development of education, adhered to the concept of open education, and actively served the national strategy and the comprehensive revitalization needs of Liaoning. At present, the school has established stable cooperative relationships with 55 universities in 17 countries, regularly carrying out projects such as teacher-student visits and credit recognition, and building multiple high-level international research platforms in the field of new quality productivity; At the same time, in collaboration with well-known enterprises such as Huawei, Midea, KUKA, Siemens, etc., 19 characteristic industry colleges have been jointly established in the fields of intelligent manufacturing, food biotechnology, mechanical parts repair, etc., achieving resonance between education and industrial development.
To accurately meet the national strategic talent needs, the school innovatively implements the 'professional+language' international talent training model. Li Kangju emphasized that the school offers free multilingual courses to all students and hires foreign experts with rich industry experience to teach, aiming to cultivate a group of high-quality talents who have a global perspective, are familiar with international rules, and can participate in international competition, providing talent support for Liaoning enterprises to 'go global'.
After the signing ceremony, a team of foreign experts from Novosibirsk State Technical University who attended the Pujiang Innovation Forum Liaoning Branch specifically visited our university and conducted on-site inspections of the achievements of our university's integration of industry and education. The expert group visited the School of Modern Industry at our university and highly affirmed the effectiveness of the school in building a distinctive educational system based on industrial demand. Subsequently, both parties held a symposium. Both parties have reached an agreement on joint training for graduate students, reverse 2+2 for undergraduate students, joint formation of research teams, mutual appointment of teachers, joint implementation of research projects, joint application for international projects, joint publication of achievements, and organization of intercollegiate student activities to enhance students' understanding of both schools.
Before the symposium, the two schools jointly held a "2+2" joint training student meeting. Chernov Sergei Sergeyevich had a cordial interaction with our school students.
