On June 17th, Hu Jianbo, Chairman of Xi'an Eurasia University, and Zhang Junhong, Vice President, came to our school for exchange and investigation. The two universities reached a number of strategic cooperation consensus on many core areas after the discussion such as digital transformation, modern industrial college construction, school system reform and campus development planning Chairman Wang Zhaobao, Yang Xiuying,Vice President and Liu Yang,Director of the Party and Government Office, also participated in the discussion.
At the symposium, Chairman Wang extended a warm welcome to the arrival of Hu Jianbo and his party, and systematically elaborated on the cooperation between our university and leading enterprises in the construction of modern industrial colleges, the integration of production and education, and the joint cultivation of high-quality applied talents between schools and enterprises in the wave of digital transformation. Wang said that Xi'an Eurasia College, as an outstanding representative of private education in Shaanxi Province, has important value of reference for our school on its modern management mode, beautiful campus environment and experience in core fields such as discipline construction, personnel training and scientific research. He hoped that Xi'an Eurasia College would give guidance and suggestions on planning and construction of campus, system reform of digital transformation and other aspects of SIT, and eagerly looked forward to deepening exchanges and cooperation between the two sides and building a new highland of digital transformation and educational innovation through complementary advantages.
During the inspection, Hu Jianbo introduced in detail the basic situation, development history, characteristic advantages and school-running achievements of Xi'an Eurasia University, and emphasized the practice of the educational logic of "taking employers' needs as the guide and students' growth and development as the center". Meanwhile, they fully affirmed and highly praised SIT educational characteristics and development model. He said that Shenyang Institute of Technology has clear ideas for running schools and distinctive characteristics of application-oriented schools. It firmly grasps the new demand for talent training in the era of digital intelligence, and makes great efforts to build advanced internship, practical training and scientific research platforms. Its digital transformation experience in exploring the path of application-oriented talent training and in-depth practice of integration of production and education has positive reference significance for the development of private higher education. We hope to take this investigation and exchange as an opportunity to deepen pragmatic cooperation in the construction of modern industrial colleges and applied talent training models, and jointly create a new situation of high-quality development for both parties.
Subsequently, the two sides conducted in-depth exchanges and discussions on key issues such as digital transformation, modern industrial college construction, school development planning, and campus construction. Both sides agreed that the two universities have many similarities in school-running philosophy and development path, and have broad prospects for cooperation. Both sides clearly expressed their strong willingness for strategic cooperation at the symposium. At the era when the intelligent wave reshapes higher education, this dialogue spanning thousands of miles has opened up a new path of digital drive and institutional innovation for the development of applied universities, and injected new kinetic energy into the high-quality development of private colleges and universities.
Before the meeting, Hu Jianbo and his party also visited Shengong-Southern Surveying and Mapping Beidou Spatiotemporal Information Industry College, Huawei-Shengong Modern Industry College, Inspur Industrial Internet Practice Teaching Center, Shengong-Midea Digital Lighthouse College and KUKA Robot Practice Teaching Center.
