The 62nd China Higher Education Expo, hosted by the China Higher Education Association, was held at the Chongqing International Expo Center from November 15th to 17th. Our school participated in an exhibition to showcase its educational characteristics and achievements in the university section. We also co hosted the 62nd China Higher Education Expo-7th Higher Engineering Education Conference sub forum with eight other institutions, including Zhejiang University, Dalian University of Technology, and Northeastern University.
The theme of this year's High Tech Expo is "Integration of Vocational and General Education, Integration of Industry and Education, and Integration of Science and Education", comprehensively showcasing the new development and achievements of China's higher education, and contributing wisdom and strength to further promote the modernization of higher education. More than 1000 universities and 5000 companies attended the conference both online and offline, with over 50000 offline attendees during the same period. The High tech Expo also held more than 50 academic events during the same period.
In the university exhibition area, our school focuses on the theme of "Exploration and Practice of New Quality Applied Talent Training Model under the Background of Digital Intelligence Era", comprehensively showcasing the characteristics and achievements of the school enterprise cooperation model, the construction and effectiveness of modern industrial colleges, language empowerment talent training, and other aspects. We also actively promote the deep integration of industry and education through the two-way empowerment of schools and enterprises, empower new quality productivity, jointly build a digital intelligence modern industrial college that meets industry standards, broaden students' international horizons, improve the quality of talent training, and showcase a number of high-level laboratories and practical teaching centers built by the school, which have received widespread attention. Guan Peijun, Vice President of the China Association of Higher Education and former Deputy Ministerial level full-time member of the State Ethnic Affairs Commission, Zhang Daliang, former Director of the Higher Education Department of the Ministry of Education, Wu Yingce, Deputy Secretary General of the Secretariat of the China Association of Higher Education, Zhang Wenzhong, Administrative Advisor, and Kong Feng, member of the Party Group and Deputy Director of the Liaoning Provincial Department of Education, visited the school booth to guide the work. Leaders, teachers, business personnel, and audience members from sister universities visited the booth for exchange and expressed strong interest.
Our school is hosting the sub forum on "Industrial Transformation and Engineering Education Development" at this year's High Tech Expo. At the forum, experts and scholars from universities and leading enterprises in the industry expressed their opinions and spoke freely. From the overall perspective of promoting Chinese path to modernization, they discussed the important strategic significance of promoting new engineering education and solved the important problems restricting the reform and development of new engineering education.
President Li Kangju made a theme report entitled "Exploration and Practice of International Applied Talents Cultivation in the Intelligent Manufacturing Field under the Background of the" the Belt and Road ", sharing the practice of the university in carrying out in-depth school enterprise cooperation and integration of production and education with global well-known enterprises in the era of digital intelligence, the university provides teaching sites, funds, management and teacher teams, the enterprise provides production equipment, production standards, management methods and technicians, the two sides jointly build a modern industrial college, and use digital empowerment to cultivate new quality applied talents; Through the education and teaching reform of "specialty+language", we can use language to empower, create "specialty+language" international composite talent training, improve the teaching level of schools, promote high-quality employment of students, and help the construction of the "the Belt and Road". Gong Yadong, a professor at Northeastern University and Secretary General of the Teaching Guidance Committee for Mechanical Majors in Higher Education Institutions under the Ministry of Education, delivered a report titled "The Transformation of Applied Talent Cultivation in the New Industrial Revolution". Zheng Qingchun, President of Tianjin Vocational and Technical Normal University, delivered a report titled "Building a Model for Innovative Cultivation of Applied Talents with New Engineering Construction as the Guide". Jiang Feng, Senior Director of Human Resources at NIO Shanghai, delivered a report titled "Independent Innovation Helps China Lead in New Energy Vehicle Technology - Building a Full Stack Self Research Organizational Capability Based on Talents". Yuan Juntang, a professor at Nanjing University of Science and Technology and a national teaching master, delivered a report titled "The Construction and Practical Innovation Capability Cultivation of First Class Majors in Applied Universities", Associate Professor Liu Huailan from Huazhong University of Science and Technology gave a report titled "Exploration and Practice of Intelligent Manufacturing Industry Development and Talent Cultivation", Party Secretary Di Kuisheng from Lanzhou Jiaotong University gave a report titled "Rooted in the Western Six Synergys, Reform and Practice of Innovative Talent Cultivation in Rail Transit in the New Era", Party Secretary Chang Chang from Huaiyin Institute of Technology gave a report titled "Huaigong Practice of Grounding Gas into Industrial Agglomeration and Industry Education Integration to Cultivate Composite Application Talents", and President Huang Zongming from Chongqing City University of Science and Technology gave a report titled "Focusing on Regional Economic Development and Exploring New Paths of Engineering Education".
The China Higher Education Expo was founded in 1992 and is the largest and most influential comprehensive brand expo in the field of higher education in China. Approved by the Ministry of Education and hosted by the China Association of Higher Education, this is a high-quality, comprehensive, and specialized brand event that integrates academic exchanges in higher education, promotion of teaching reform achievements, display of modern education high-end equipment, teacher professional development training, transformation of scientific research achievements, incubation of scientific and technological innovation enterprises, employment and entrepreneurship services, technical services, trade negotiations.
