On June 24th, Principal Li Kangju paid a visit to Chinese Consul General Li Hai in Irkutsk.
Li Kangju introduced to Li Hai the situation of our school in promoting in-depth cooperation with Russia, as well as the measures, achievements, and next steps of our school's active promotion of "professional+language" education and teaching reform, deepening school enterprise cooperation, and cultivating industry scarce talents. Li Kangju said that our school actively responded to the national "the Belt and Road" initiative, carried out cooperation and exchanges with Russia, Belarus and other countries, and implemented in-depth cooperation with many schools. The school attaches great importance to cooperation with various universities in Russia, and has carried out fruitful cooperation with multiple Russian universities in teacher exchanges, student joint training, scientific research cooperation, and laboratory construction. I hope that in the future, the school can cooperate with more Russian universities and continuously expand and deepen cooperation.
Li Hai highly appreciates the efforts made by our school in promoting educational exchanges between China and Russia, and affirms our school's active development and promotion of cooperation and exchanges with Russia. He stated that the Consulate General will actively support the cooperation between Shenyang Institute of Technology and Russian universities, actively build cooperation platforms, further expand cooperation and exchanges with Russia, and inject new connotations into the comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Russia in the new era. In the future, we hope that Shenyang Institute of Technology can fully leverage its professional advantages and contribute to the prosperity and development of education in both countries.
