The final of the Liaoning Province Undergraduate Mechanical Innovation Design Competition, hosted by the Provincial Department of Education and the Department of Finance, was held at Shenyang University of Technology from April 12th to 14th. After intense competition, our school's students won 5 first prizes, 6 second prizes, and 5 third prizes, achieving a new high in the competition and achieving a new breakthrough.
This competition is one of the important projects of the Liaoning Province College Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, with the theme of "Mechanical Innovation Promotes Agricultural Modernization and Natural Harmony Towards a New Height of Biomimetics". More than 30 experts in the field of mechanical innovation design from the province, 230 teams from 26 universities, and more than 700 representatives of teachers and students from various universities participated in the final. It aims to guide higher education to focus on cultivating students' innovative design thinking, comprehensive design abilities, and teamwork spirit. The competition emphasizes the exercise of students' hands-on ability and the training of engineering practice. Through the guidance of innovative thinking, students can efficiently design and produce machinery and processes according to practical needs, thereby improving their ability to solve practical problems.
For many years, the school has always adhered to the goal of cultivating applied talents, fully implemented the "1344" innovation and entrepreneurship education system, and integrated innovation and entrepreneurship education into the entire process of talent cultivation.
