On September 20th, the Liaoning Provincial Credit Knowledge Education Base dedication ceremony and the kick-off event for promoting integrity culture on campus were held in the auditorium of BoXue Hall in our school. Zhang Bingying, head of the Credit Management Division of the People’s Bank of China Liaoning Branch, Qiu Kui, member of the Party Committee and Deputy Governor of the People’s Bank of China Fushun Branch, Song Gang, Deputy Director of the Credit Management Division of the People’s Bank of China Liaoning Branch, Li Kangju, President of our school, and Zhou Yongchang, Vice President attended the event. Zhang Bingying and Li Kangju unveiled the Liaoning Credit Information Education Base.
In his speech, Qiu Kui stated that the purpose of this event is to strengthen the construction of the social credit system, vigorously promote the dissemination of credit knowledge, enhance the honesty awareness of college students, and promote the formation of a campus culture based on honesty and trustworthiness. After the base is established, it will take the establishment of financial service stations as the carrier, organize young volunteers to regularly carry out educational and teaching activities. Through typical cases of credit investigation, interpretation of personal credit reports, special lectures on financial knowledge, participation in social practice and other forms, combined with important dates such as “3.15 International Consumer Rights Day”, “6.14 Credit Record Care Day”, and “Financial Knowledge Dissemination Month”, we will expand the channels for promoting financial knowledge on campus and strengthen the honesty awareness of college students.
Zhou Yongchang stated that universities play an important and irreplaceable role as important battlefields in the construction of the social credit system. The dedication of the Liaoning Provincial Credit Knowledge Education Base will play an important role in improving college students’ financial literacy, enhancing their risk awareness, and enhancing their ability to safeguard their own rights. It also represents our school's sense of responsibility to fulfill its mission and responsibilities. Integrating credit knowledge into course teaching, cultivating students' credit awareness, and promoting multi-level, multi-domain, and multi-modal teaching and publicity will enable students to deeply understand the importance of honesty, establish correct financial concepts, and contribute to the development of the economic society.
During the meeting, the credit investigation lecturers provided students with a “safe credit investigation course.” The People’s Bank of China Fushun Branch lectured on “Personal Credit Inquiry and Rights Protection,” the Construction Bank of China Fushun Branch lectured on “Cloud Credit Report Inquiry,” the Fushun Bank lectured on “Warning: New ‘Credit Restoration’ Fraud,” and the Wanghua Fuyin Rural Bank lectured on “Stay away from campus loans and build a harmonious campus.”
Wang Chuandeng, member of the Party Committee and Vice President of the Fushun Bank, Ma Yuan, member of the Party Committee and Vice President of the Construction Bank of China Fushun Branch, Niu Yuefeng, Secretary of the Party Committee and President of the Wanghua Fuyin Rural Bank, and Li Yang, Vice Dean of the Student Affairs Office, attended the event.
