Recently, the National Finals of the Fourth China University Student Creative Festival came to an end. Wang Haixu and Lin Shuo, the students majoring in arts and crafts in the College of Arts and Media, won the second prize in the creative arts category for their work "Hero of Fire". Wu Peichao, a student majoring in visual communication design, won the National Second Prize in Creative Visual Communication Design for his work "One Point to the Perfect".

The Chinese College Student Creative Festival is guided by the Department of Sports, Health, and Art Education of the Ministry of Education, and hosted by the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission. It is an important national college student creative event with the core of "paying attention to aesthetic education, participating in innovation, enjoying creativity, and entrepreneurship". The theme of this competition is "Beauty of Youth", attracting 13089 works from well-known universities such as the Central Academy of Fine Arts, China Academy of Fine Arts, Sichuan Academy of Fine Arts, Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts, Tsinghua University, Tongji University, etc. The number of participating students reached 18797.

The school attaches great importance to innovation and entrepreneurship education, offers "double innovation" courses, establishes a "double innovation" mentor library, and builds a three-level scientific and technological innovation activity platform at the provincial, school, and college levels. Students participating in innovation and entrepreneurship training programs have achieved full professional coverage, significantly enhancing their innovation and practical abilities.
