On the occasion of the May 4th Youth Day, our Uni Volunteer Service Team won the honorary title of "Liaoning Youth May 4th Medal" (collective) in 2022.

“Liaoning Youth May 4th medal” is the Human resources and Social Security Hall of Liaoning Province, the Communist Youth League Committee of Liaoning Province, Liaoning Province Youth Federation awarded the Liaoning Outstanding Youth, aims to set up the political progress, noble moral character, outstanding contribution outstanding youth, reflect the new era of Liaoning youth spirit character and value pursuit.

In the past 13 years, the volunteer service team has traveled all over Shenyang, Anshan, Fushun, Benxi, Tieling and other places, sending the latest agricultural knowledge to local farmers, providing technical support to many farmers’ cooperatives, and supporting rural youth to start their own businesses. Year after year, the service content of the service team is constantly enriched, the service coverage is continuously expanded, and more than 30 activities are carried out in the countryside every year. The service team held a series of training courses such as “Rain and Dew Project” and “Leading Wild Goose Project” in Xinbin Manchu Autonomous County and Qingyuan Manchu Autonomous County, which trained more than 1,000 farmers, helped nearly 100 poor households, and also led a number of college students to start their own businesses. In 2017, relying on the service team, the School of Life Engineering established a service platform called “Benefit Star Creation World” to provide comprehensive services for science and technology commissioners, small, medium and micro rural enterprises, returning migrant workers, and college students. The “Beneficial Agricultural Star Creation World” was selected as the national “Star Creation World”. With the support of the Science and Technology Department of Liaoning Province, the college has set up three science and technology missions, which have covered more than 80 villages and towns in the province. In addition, the college has set up 2 science and technology talent workstations in western Liaoning, and 2 science and technology service stations in the mountainous areas of eastern Liaoning.
