Our school held the first "China-Belarus Machinery Design and Manufacturing and Automation 2+2" Joint Training Project Opening Ceremony

On September 18th, the opening ceremony of the first "China-Belarus Machinery Design and Manufacturing and Automation 2+2" joint training project of Shenyang Institute of Technology was held in the International Education Institute. School Chairman Wang Zhaobao, Principal Li Kangju, Vice Principal Li Wenguo, Director of Teaching Management Liang Shuang, Dean of the School of Mechanical Engineering and Automation Zhao Yuan, Dean of the School of International Education Xu Ying, Director of the Russian-Urban-Belarusian Cooperation and Exchange Center Wang Lijun, teacher representatives and all the students of the project participated in the opening ceremony.

In his speech, Li Kangju pointed out that the "China-Belarus Machinery Design and Manufacturing and Automation 2+2" joint training project is a new starting point for our school to actively expand and establish friendly relations with high-level universities in countries along the "Belt and Road". The project is a new fulcrum for cultivating top-notch majors and curriculum systems. It is a new path for our school to build a talent training system that meets the individualized development and diverse needs of students. The school will adhere to the open-running strategy, actively promote international exchanges and cooperation, actively integrate into the country’s “Belt and Road” construction, broaden the global perspective of teachers and students, and enhance the school’s international influence. Taking "Satellite Inertial Movement" as an example, Li Kangju encouraged the students participating in the project to have a clear goal, seize opportunities, fight hard, develop good study habits, walk out of their wonderful life. The students should strive to grow into a much-needed talent for the "Belt and Road" initiative. The school will go all out to do a good job in supporting and guaranteeing all kinds of support and safeguards to escort the "study abroad dream" of S.I.T students.

Wang Lijun said in her speech that the school will work with Belarusian top universities in science and technology, the Belarusian State Technical University, to formulate a personalized talent training plan, focusing on cultivating high-tech talents in urgent need of the “Belt and Road” initiative. Wang Lijun reviewed the history of cooperation between China and Russian-speaking countries in personnel training, and encouraged the students to serve as role models for their predecessors, seize the opportunity of the demand for Russian-speaking technical personnel in the country’s “Belt and Road” construction, and strive to become high-quality applied talents. The students should learn to serve the country and add luster to S.I.T.

Student representative Chen Siyu said that he was very grateful for the valuable learning opportunities provided by the school, especially the strong support in the learning guarantee, equipped with excellent teachers and learning resources. Chen Siyu is determined to study hard, strive to become a better self, shoulder the mission of the times, and repay the education of his alma mater and teachers with excellent results.
