On April 16, Gao Kaizheng, Dean of the Entrepreneurship School at Liaoning Vocational University of Advertising, and Gao Song, Deputy Dean, led a delegation of 11 department heads to visit our university for an inspection and exchange. Gao Kaizheng and his delegation visited the Southern Surveying and Mapping Beidou Spatiotemporal Information Industry College, the Huawei-Shenyang Institute of Technology Modern Industry College, the i5 Intelligent Manufacturing Practical Teaching Center, the Shenyang Institute of Technology-Midea Digital Beacon College, and the KUKA Authorized Industrial Robot College. They gained an in-depth understanding of the operational models, teaching scenarios, training equipment, and industry-academia collaboration achievements of modern industry colleges. They highly praised Shenyang Institute of Technology for integrating real enterprise scenarios into teaching and achieving deep integration between the education chain and the industrial chain.
As a pioneer and organizer of private higher education in Liaoning Province, Gao Kaizheng expressed during the inspection that he was deeply proud to have a high-level, high-positioned, and high-quality private university like Shenyang Institute of Technology. He hopes to engage in in-depth collaboration with Shenyang Institute of Technology in areas such as faculty development, talent training models, AI-driven education, and modern industrial college planning, jointly exploring new pathways for the high-quality development of private education in the new era.
At the symposium, both sides exchanged views on accelerating the connotative development and holistic improvement of universities under the new round of technological revolution and industrial transformation, while thoroughly implementing the spirit of the speech delivered by Provincial Party Committee Secretary Xu Kunlin during a collective talk with university party secretaries and presidents. They unanimously agreed that higher education is a "critical link" in Liaoning's comprehensive revitalization during the 14th Five-Year Plan period. As private universities, they must proactively integrate into the broader landscape, resolutely shoulder the mission of educating for the Party and cultivating talent for the nation, align with the demands of the "2211" industrial system, and accurately position themselves in deepening industry-education integration and school-enterprise collaborative education. Together, they will provide talent and intellectual support for Liaoning's revitalization, striving to become "single champions" in their respective fields of university education.
