As spring returns to the earth, all things flourish. In this season brimming with vitality and hope, we celebrate the 116th International Women’s Day. On this occasion, the university union extends festive greetings and warm wishes to all female faculty and staff!
The past year marked a remarkable chapter in our university’s development. At this pivotal juncture where technology and education converge, we witnessed Shenyang University of Technology (SUT) defying the impossible to pioneer a groundbreaking "first-principles" reimagining of education. Looking back, the university union successfully completed its leadership transition, ushering in a new era of union work. The newly established Women’s Federation further united the campus community to drive institutional progress. Significant strides were made in expanding academic programs, refining governance structures, elevating talent cultivation standards, and enhancing community engagement, culminating in the successful conclusion of the 14th Five-Year Plan period.
Over the past year, our female faculty members have demonstrated remarkable dedication and courage in shouldering responsibilities. Upholding their original mission to nurture talents for the Party and the nation, they have diligently fulfilled the fundamental task of moral education. Guided by the principles of pedagogy and the virtues of teaching, they have written a magnificent chapter of women’s excellence, matching men’s achievements. Under the inspiration of educational ideals, they have devoted themselves to student development and risen to new heights in digital transformation, evolving from traditional knowledge transmitters into growth designers, mentors, and partners. With keen insight, steadfast commitment, and innovative passion, they have empowered education through artificial intelligence, illuminating students paths to success with heartfelt dedication. Their actions vividly embody the spirit and strength of women in the new era. The university takes immense pride in having such an outstanding team of female faculty members!
2026 marks the 105th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, the inaugural year of the 15th Five-Year Plan, and the first year to fully implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi keynote speech at the Global Women’s Summit. It is also a pivotal year for the university to advance toward high-quality development and a year of deepening our response to the call of the times through reform. The new journey calls for new actions, and the new mission demands new commitments. We hope that all female faculty and staff will persistently use Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era to unite hearts and souls, steadfastly follow the path of women’s development under socialism with Chinese characteristics, and remain true to their original aspirations in advancing with the Party. Contribute wisdom in building the "Intelligent Body of a Thousand Courses," explore new paths in the practice of industry-education integration, walk the "last mile" in project-based teaching, and ignite ideas and shape character in every dialogue with students. The university will continue to care for and support the development of female faculty and staff, striving to create a more inclusive and vibrant working environment for them, effectively safeguarding their legitimate rights and interests, so that every female faculty and staff member can feel warmth and strength in the university family, achieving both career success and personal growth.
