On October 28th, Sun Yanpeng, President of Liaoning Provincial Vocational College of Transportation, and his delegation visited SIT for inspection and exchange, and conducted in-depth exchanges on topics such as the construction of modern industrial colleges and the training mode of applied talents. Principal Li Kangju, Executive Vice Principal Gong Piguo, and Assistant Principal and Director of Academic Affairs Yang Yue accompanied the research and participated in the symposium.
At the symposium, Li Kangju warmly welcomed the arrival of Sun Yanpeng and his delegation. He gave a detailed introduction to SIT close connection with regional industrial needs in recent years, combined with the advantages and characteristics of education, deepened the integration of industry and education, and jointly built a characteristic industrial college with leading enterprises such as Huawei, Midea, and KUKA China. The experience of deeply integrating enterprise technology, products, and curriculum systems, and jointly carrying out curriculum development and teaching practice vividly explained the idea of building a “education technology talent” three in one coordinated development. He stated that Liaoning Provincial Vocational College of Transportation is a national demonstration higher vocational college with distinctive characteristics and strong strength in the field of transportation. The two schools shoulder a common mission in serving the comprehensive revitalization of Liaoning, and there is broad space for cooperation. He hopes that both sides can take this exchange as an opportunity to learn from each other, work together, and create a new situation of high-quality development for both sides.
Sun Yanpeng expressed sincere gratitude for the warm reception of our school and highly praised the remarkable achievements we have made in the digital transformation of education. He briefly introduced the basic situation, professional characteristics, and exploration and practice in the construction of the “Double High Plan” of Liaoning Provincial Vocational College of Transportation. He stated that Shenyang Institute of Technology has valuable experience in deepening the integration of industry and education, and internationalizing education. He hopes that in the future, the two universities can further strengthen communication, carry out deep cooperation in the construction of modern industrial colleges, faculty team building, practice base sharing, and scientific research and technological breakthroughs, and jointly explore new paths for cultivating high-quality talents, in order to cultivate more high-quality technical and skilled talents for the regional economic development of Liaoning.
