On September 29, Liu Changqing, Chairman of Qingdao Huanghai University, and Meng Guangdong, Deputy Party Committee Secretary, led a delegation to visit our university for an inspection and exchange. The two parties engaged in in-depth discussions and exchanges on topics such as industry-education integration in the context of digital transformation, the construction of industry colleges, the enhancement of faculty capabilities, and the application of intelligent education platforms. Li Kangju, President of our university, attended the symposium and accompanied the delegation during the visit.
At the symposium, Li Kangju warmly welcomed the visit of Liu Changqing and his delegation, and provided a detailed introduction to the construction ideas and practical experience of our school's School of Industry. He pointed out that in the era of digital transformation, private universities can only seize the opportunity for development by actively seeking change and breaking through barriers. The core path is to leverage education and teaching reform through enterprise cooperation. The improvement of teachers' abilities is a key support for the quality of talent cultivation, and the innovative application of intelligent agent education platforms can effectively make up for the shortcomings of teachers and achieve efficient collaboration in talent cultivation.
Liu Changqing provided a detailed introduction to the practical achievements of the joint construction of the Industrial College between Qingdao Huanghai University and Huawei. He pointed out that several universities within the Private Education Association have reached strategic cooperation intentions with Huawei, and are jointly promoting the construction of an industry education integration community. Through measures such as curriculum co construction, teacher training, and technical certification system output, the quality of digital talent cultivation in private universities is effectively improved, gradually forming a replicable and promotable collaborative education model, and ultimately building a broader employment platform for students. At present, Qingdao Huanghai College is focusing on the core task of digital transformation, and is still exploring how to optimize the professional settings to cultivate versatile talents, and how to develop a curriculum system that accurately matches the needs of social positions. This inspection has brought important inspiration for the school to solve development problems.
After in-depth communication, both parties have reached a high consensus on the development path of digital transformation in private universities: under the wave of digital transformation in higher education, private universities should adhere to the new paradigm of industry education integration and lead professional construction with industry standards. Empower teachers through intelligent platforms, strengthen practical teaching and simulation technology, and solve the problem of insufficient teacher capacity; At the same time, by combining horizontal projects and training income, we aim to achieve sustainable operation of the Industrial College and contribute to regional economic and social development.
