The university has reached a cooperation with Kagoshima International University in Japan

On September 19, a delegation led by Sadamatsu Sadamatsu, President of Tsukuyu Gakuen in Japan, along with Junji Kobayashi, President of Kagoshima International University, and Vice President Keisuke Tsuchiya, visited our university for an exchange program. Our university's President Wang Zhaobao, Vice President Xu Ying, and Sun Yuhua, former President of Dalian University of Foreign Languages, attended the meeting. The two sides discussed collaborative student training, faculty exchanges, and research cooperation, ultimately signing a cooperation agreement that establishes a new bridge for educational collaboration between the two institutions.

At the meeting, Wang Zhaobao presented the educational landscape of Shenyang Institute of Technology, highlighting the institution's pioneering initiatives in international education. He emphasized the university's commitment to open education, having established deep partnerships with multiple overseas universities and industry leaders. Through enhanced industry-academia collaboration and innovative talent development models, the institute leverages its modern industrial colleges to strengthen its "specialization + language" training program, aiming to cultivate globally competent professionals with both technical expertise and cross-cultural communication skills. Wang expressed hope that both institutions could lead with institutional innovation, integrate resources, and complement each other's strengths to advance practical cooperation in areas such as joint student training, faculty exchanges, and academic program development, ultimately achieving mutual benefits and win-win outcomes.

Jing Quzhenli expressed gratitude for our university's warm hospitality and highly praised our achievements in educational infrastructure development and academic accomplishments. He noted that Shenyang Institute of Technology has made impressive strides in digital transformation, establishing industry-aligned teaching environments at its modern industrial colleges, and developing applied talent cultivation systems. He looked forward to both institutions leveraging their respective strengths to build comprehensive, multi-faceted partnerships. Special emphasis was placed on exploring collaborative opportunities in applied talent development and faculty-student exchanges, aiming to create more learning opportunities for educators and students across both universities. Together, they will cultivate high-caliber applied professionals with global perspectives and innovative capabilities.

During the meeting, both parties formally signed a cooperation agreement and held in-depth discussions on key areas including joint student cultivation, faculty-student exchanges, and collaborative research. They reached multiple consensus points, committing to steadily advance the implementation of cooperative projects and deepen collaboration in educational research. This signing marks a substantive step forward in the partnership between the two institutions, laying a solid foundation for long-term, close cooperation in the future.

Before the meeting, the Japanese delegation also visited the Shenyang Institute of Technology-Southern Surveying and Mapping Beidou Spatiotemporal Information Industry College, Huawei-Shenyang Institute of Technology Modern Industry College, the practice teaching base of the Preschool Education College, Shenyang Institute of Technology-Midea Digital Lighthouse College, Shenyang Institute of Technology-Siemens College, and the Kuka Authorized Industrial Robot College on campus.

Liu Yang, Director of the Party and Government Office, Wang Tingting, Dean of the College of Preschool Education, and Zhang Lili, Dean of the International Education College, accompanied the inspection and attended the symposium.
