On November 8, 2024, the General Office of the Ministry of Education issued the Notice on the Results of the Undergraduate Teaching Qualification Assessment for Regular Higher Education Institutions for the 2023–2024 Academic Year. After deliberation by the Ministry of Education's Expert Committee on Undergraduate Education and Teaching Assessment, our university's undergraduate teaching qualification assessment result was determined as "Pass." This milestone achievement signifies that Shenyang Institute of Technology has gained recognition from the Ministry of Education in various aspects, including educational standards and talent cultivation quality. It marks a new level in Shenyang Institute of Technology undergraduate education and teaching work and lays a solid foundation for its future development.

Since the launch of the self-assessment and improvement initiative, Shenyang Institute of Technology has adhered to the guiding principle of "promoting construction, reform, and management through assessment, with a focus on development." By aligning with assessment standards, the university has carefully analyzed its shortcomings, scientifically formulated improvement plans, and addressed key challenges in education and teaching through targeted measures, effectively advancing all aspects of its work. During the assessment process, the expert group conducted a comprehensive, in-depth, and meticulous examination of the university's educational positioning, faculty team, teaching resources, talent cultivation model, and teaching quality assurance system. Through methods such as document reviews, class observations and evaluations, interviews with teachers and students, and on-site inspections, they performed a thorough "health check" on all aspects of the university's operations. The Ministry of Education's on-site assessment team fully affirmed the achievements of the university's undergraduate teaching work. They unanimously agreed that Shenyang Institute of Technology comprehensively implements the Party's educational policies, fulfills the fundamental task of fostering virtue through education, upholds the motto of "Pursuing Excellence, Mutual Assistance, and Altruism," and adheres to its "local and application-oriented" educational positioning. By proactively serving local needs and focusing on demand-driven education, Shenyang Institute of Technology has made active contributions to the region's economic and social development.
