In order to further implement the decision and deployment of the Ministry of Education on the employment of college graduates, accelerate the improvement of the market-oriented and socialized employment mechanism for college graduates, and explore more employment positions and opportunities, our university continues to carry out the special action of college presidents visiting enterprises to expand employment opportunities. From November 17th to 20th, Principal Li Kangju led a team to visit well-known enterprises such as Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd., Huawei Southern Factory, Shenzhen Kaihong Digital Industry Development Co., Ltd., and Guangdong Baolun Electronics Co., Ltd. (ITC).
Li Dan, the head of the Enterprise Training and Certification Key Account Department at Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd., warmly received Li Kangju and his delegation. Huawei, as an important participant in the global information technology field, has always been one of the key enterprises in our school enterprise cooperation. Since our cooperation with Huawei began in 2018, our school has continuously strengthened ties and deepened cooperation. In 2021, the school and enterprise jointly established a provincial-level modern industry college - the New Generation Information Technology Industry College, introducing Huawei's expert team and advanced technology to create a leading information technology experimental and teaching platform, resource sharing, and course co construction. In September 2024, Huawei Shenyang Institute of Technology Modern Industry College was officially completed, using the Modern Industry College as a platform to explore and promote the construction of the Modern Industry College and the comprehensive empowerment of digitalization for high-quality development of the school; Based on the international ICT innovation talent training base, we aim to create a model for talent training in Liaoning Province, and assist in the high-level construction of a digital Liaoning and a strong province through intelligent manufacturing; Guided by the 'Star Joint Innovation Talent Training Program', establish a new benchmark for educational cooperation.
Li Kangju visited Huawei's global business command center in Bantian, Huawei's southern factory and Huawei's digital product exhibition hall, as well as Huawei's first-line production base for wireless WiFi equipment. He listened to reports on Huawei's digital achievements in different industries such as urban operation command centers, smart education, smart transportation, smart finance, and smart energy, as well as introductions to the application of technology products in scenarios such as Ascend, Datacom, 5G, Kunpeng, Ora, and HarmonyOS. He experienced Huawei's latest information technology products on site. Both schools and enterprises will have in-depth discussions on talent cultivation, international education, training system construction and project promotion, industry expansion, and integration of industry and education.
During the visit to Shenzhen Kaihong Digital Industry Development Co., Ltd., the school and enterprise had extensive and in-depth discussions on teacher training, holding industry specific job fairs, and deepening cooperation with industrial colleges. As a leading provider of operating systems and solutions in China, Shenkai Hong plays an important role in promoting the development of the open-source HarmonyOS, providing basic software services for the digitalization and intelligence of the industry, and is committed to building the core technology and leading ecosystem of the Internet of Things.
During the visit to Guangdong Baolun Electronics Co., Ltd. (ITC), both the school and enterprise had in-depth discussions on talent cultivation, industry education integration, and student employment. Guangdong Baolun Electronics Co., Ltd., as a leading enterprise in the integrated manufacturing of sound and light television communication systems in China, has been dedicated to the research and production of professional sound and light television communication systems under its brand ITC since its establishment in 1993. It is currently a manufacturer with a large scale, high market share, and strong comprehensive strength in China.
The special action of visiting enterprises to expand employment not only deepened the understanding between our school and Huawei and various enterprises in the Huawei ecosystem, but also laid a solid foundation for future cooperation. Li Kangju stated that Shenyang Institute of Technology will continue to be committed to deep cooperation with enterprises, relying on Huawei Shenyang Institute of Technology Modern Industry to improve teaching quality and students' practical abilities through practical teaching and integration of industry and education. This will provide more comprehensive and high-quality employment support for our graduates, as well as more and higher quality applied talents for enterprises.
