On October 15, President Li Kangju warmly received Yevgeny Dmitrievich Golovin, Senior Researcher of the Research Laboratory of Physico-Chemical Technology and Functional Materials at Novosibirsk State Technical University. Based on the existing cooperation between the two universities, they will carry out in-depth cooperation in various aspects such as joint talent cultivation, scientific research cooperation, and teacher-student exchanges.
Li Kangju extended a warm welcome on behalf of the university to Dmitrievich’s visit and introduced in detail the characteristics and achievements of our university in education and teaching, as well as international exchanges. He stated that Shenyang Institute of Engineering has always been committed to cultivating high-quality applied talents with an international vision. In the future, he hopes that the two universities can enhance their internationalization level by regularly conducting scientific and humanities exchanges, establishing joint laboratories, and facilitating teacher-student visits, providing intellectual support for serving the “Belt and Road” initiative and actively carrying out activities such as the undergraduate “2+2” joint cultivation program and short-term study visits during summer and winter vacations.
Dmitrievich expressed his gratitude for the warm reception from Shenyang Institute of Engineering and praised the advancement of the experimental equipment and the strength of the teaching staff. He hopes that teachers and students from both sides can visit each other, learn from and understand each other, making mutual visits a normalized form of exchange and learning. He hopes that both sides can jointly cultivate outstanding talents, promote academic innovation, achieve more fruitful cooperation results, and jointly create a new situation in cooperation.
During the international cooperation and exchange meeting, both sides conducted in-depth exchanges and discussions on specific cooperation details and initially reached multiple cooperation intentions. They will further strengthen teacher-student exchanges, regularly conduct academic seminars, jointly declare scientific research projects, and promote the transformation and application of scientific research results. At the same time, both sides made specific plans for jointly cultivating graduate students.
Since the signing of the cooperation agreement between the two universities, they have maintained close and in-depth exchanges, fully exploring their respective resources and advantages, jointly planning and promoting multiple cooperation projects, and promoting collaborative development in the field of education.
Before the exchange meeting, Dmitrievich visited the key laboratories of our university and highly praised the school’s conditions, teacher training, and talent cultivation. He also expressed confidence and anticipation for the in-depth cooperation between Novosibirsk State Technical University and our university.
