On July 29th, the 2024 National University of Urban -Maeramism Discipline Innovation and Entrepreneurship, hosted by the Education Working Committee of the China Institute of Surveying and Mapping, hosted by the University of Yunnan University of Applied Technology, and co -organized by the Southern Surveying and Mapping Group. Participating Cao Wannan and Ma Xinyu stood out among the 5530 participants in the surveying and mapping skills competition items, winning two national first prizes.

This competition is a top-level event in the national surveying and mapping competition, selected in the "2023 National College Student Competition Analysis Report" competition directory. It is the highest level competition for showcasing surveying and mapping technology innovation among college students in China. The competition has three events, including surveying skills competition, development and design competition, and scientific paper competition. It adopts the method of online participation by contestants and offline evaluation by judges, attracting more than 8000 contestants from more than 360 universities to participate. The scale and influence of the competition have reached a new high in previous competitions.
