A Conference on CCP History Education

On January 26, a conference on  CCP history education was held by Shenyang Technology Institute (SIT) at the Erudite Hall. The meeting studied and implemented the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech and instructions, implemented the requirements of the study and summation of the party history directed by the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Party Committee Education Working Committee on conscientiously doing a good job in the summary of Party history learning and education. Besides, the conference comprehensively and systematically summarized the school's party history learning and education development, and make arrangements to consolidate and expand the achievements of party history learning and education. Wang Jicheng, deputy head of the 24th Tour Steering Group of the Provincial Party Committee, attended the meeting. During the meeting, Li Kangju, deputy secretary of the school party committee and president, made a summary report, and Li Wenguo, deputy secretary of the school party committee and vice president, presided over the meeting. The meeting was adopted in a combination of online and offline formats. School party members and school leaders, some middle-level cadres and party member representatives attended the meeting on site, while other middle-level cadres and party organization secretaries at all levels attended the meeting online.

Li Kangju made a summary on the party’s history education of SIT.  He summed up the specific practices of the school's party history learning and education from four aspects: First, to implement leadership responsibilities, focus on theoretical arming, learn party history, and make one wise by history.  The school party committee attaches great importance to it, and issued a series of documents such as the " Implementation Scheme of SIT Committee of the Communist Party about History Education ", coordinating the study and education schedule, organization and implementation of a series of work, which ensures the effective development of school's party history learning and education. Party organizations at all levels and all-party members have integrated thematic studies into the daily routine and focus on them through central group meetings, three sessions and one lesson, thematic party days, self-study seminars, etc., to achieve full coverage of thematic studies. Second, to enrich the forms of learning, carry out preaching work, narrate Party history in detail, and actually increase the credibility of academic history. The school took party history study and education as a key study topic, organized and carried out thematic reading classes, prescribed study content for party members and clarified study articles, and achieved “leading learning” by leading cadres. When it comes to achievements, teacher and student party members serve as examples, while others teachers and students follows their paths.  A theoretical speech group was organized to carry out extensive publicity work both inside and outside the school, and promote the learning and education of party history to achieve down-to-earth effects. Third, to continue the red blood, carry forward the spirit of Lei Feng, study the history of the Party, and focus on learning history and virtue. The school plays the role of Lei Feng's spiritual education base and carries out a variety of educational activities. Besides, SIT Intensifies the development of party building and ideological and political scientific research projects, and carry out special projects around carrying forward the spirit of Lei Feng. Abundant performance could be watched for all students and faculty.  “The Power of Faith” was rehearsed for times during the “July 1st” period to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China Nearly 4,000 teachers and students watched the performances, creating a good atmosphere. Finally, to carry out practical activities, adhere to the combination of learning and practice, make good use of party history, and promote the study of history.  Party members and school leaders listed 35 projects and 67 promotion measures; 9 general party branches listed 67 projects and 143 promotion measures, which is a list of "doing practical things" projects. These effective measures are based on the principles "I do practical things for the masses” Party organizations at all levels of the school effectively promoted the work of the school talent training center under the purpose of “adding to the list of practical things, subtracting the urgent worries of teachers and students”. Besides, we added 15 practical projects, 20 promotion initiatives, and formed 10 long-term mechanisms.

Li Kangju pointed out that all party members of the school should summarize, consolidate and expand the achievements of party history learning and education at the new historical starting point. And everyone is supposed to take Xi Jinping's thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era as the guide to thoroughly study and implement the 19th CPC National Congress. The spirit of the Sixth Plenary Session of the CPC Central Committee has continuously promoted the high-quality development of various work. The first step is to take Party history study and education as an opportunity to promote Xi Jinping's ideology of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era into the classroom. The second is to study and implement the spirit of the Sixth Plenary Session of the 19th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China as an important political task, deeply understand the decisive significance of the "two establishments", strengthen the "four consciousnesses", strengthen the "four self-confidences", and achieve the "two establishments". maintenance". The third is to promote the normalization and institutionalization of the practical activities of “I do practical things for teachers and students”. Also, another measure is to solve the problem of “urgent distress” of teachers and students with sincerity, and enhance the sense of happiness and security of teachers and students.

When presiding over the meeting, Li Wenguo stressed that we should take the learning and education of party history as an opportunity to constantly consolidate and expand the achievements of party history learning and education, and promote the normalization of party history learning and education. First, it is to establish a mechanism for normalization of Party history study and education, and to continuously strengthen the party culture of Party members and cadres. Second, we should adhere to the excellent practice of “I do practical things for teachers and students” and continuously improve our ability to serve teachers and students. The third is to summarize the achievements of Party history learning and education, and promote the school's various undertakings to a new level.
