Recently, the Propaganda Department of the Liaoning Provincial Party Committee of the Communist Party of China issued the "Notice on Naming the Fourth Batch of Patriotism Education Demonstration Bases in Liaoning Province" (Liao Xuan [2020] No. 29), and the Lei Feng Spiritual Education Base of Shenyang Institute of Technology (45 in total) was named as the fourth batch of patriotic education demonstration bases in Liaoning Province.

    In 2020, the university has built the Lei Feng Spirit Education Base of Shenyang Institute of Technology (hereinafter referred to as the "Base"), and jointly built the "Fushun Lei Feng Memorial Hall·Shenyang Institute of Technology Exhibition Hall", covering an area of nearly 1,000 square meters. The base is rich in content and distinctive themes, which is an important carrier for our school's theoretical research, publicity and promotion of Lei Feng's spirit. Since its establishment, it has received more than 10,000 teachers and students from inside and outside school to visit and study. The effect of publicity and education has been remarkable, and the role of education has been effectively brought into play.

The University will take the opportunity of being approved as a demonstration base for patriotic education in Liaoning Province to continuously improve the construction of the base, enrich the content of exhibitions, fully tap the spirit of Lei Feng in the new era, and carry out extensive publicity and promotion of the Lei Feng Spirit to teachers and students and all sectors of society. Educational practice activities have contributed to the further promotion of patriotism.
