On July 2, 2020, our university held a "cloud" signing ceremony with St. Petersburg State University of Aeronautics and Astronautics of Russia. President Li Kangju and vice-president Li Wenguo of SIT, president Yulia · annadoryevna and vice-president Konstantin · vikdolovitch of St. Petersburg State University of Aeronautics and Astronautics of Russia attended the signing ceremony. The ceremony was presided over by Xu Ying, Dean of College of International Education, SIT.
At the ceremony, president Yulia · Anatoliyevna said this was the first cooperation signing ceremony she attended since the outbreak of COVID-19. She is full of expectations for the exchanges and cooperation between the two universities. She believes that the both parties have great potential for cooperation in robotics, artificial intelligence, network security, information systems, business administration and other fields, and can carry out in-depth teacher-student exchanges and academic cooperation, so as to strengthen the friendly relationship between the two universities and jointly promote the cooperation to a higher level. President Yulia · annadoryevna also sincerely invited president Li Kangju to visit St. Petersburg State University of Aeronautics and Astronautics of Russia after the end of the epidemic, so as to bring teachers and students of both sides closer and closer.
President Li Kangju said in his speech that the signing ceremony could still be held successfully by the two universities during the epidemic thanks to the high attention of both universities to the international education and international exchanges as well as the hard work of the international education staff of both sides. He highlighted the education mode of the integration of theory and practice，the running idea of school-enterprise cooperation of SIT, and the cooperation with Russian universities, and expressed that the two universities have broad cooperation space in personnel training, professional construction, scientific research and teacher training, and sincerely hopes that the road of cooperation between the two universities will be wider and wider. President Li Kangju also expressed his gratitude to president Yulia·annadoryevna for her kind invitation and expressed his willingness to go to St. Petersburg for the third time to further explore and promote the exchange and cooperation between the two schools. He also welcomes president Yulia·annadoryevna to visit our school, and hopes that she will make the trip as soon as possible after the end of the epidemic.
