On June 23, a signing ceremony for a strategic cooperation agreement on the integration of industry and education in intelligent manufacturing was held at our university, involving Shenyang Institute of Technology, Dassault Systèmes, and Shanghai Huicheng Engineering Technology Service Co., Ltd. The three parties signed a strategic cooperation agreement and established the Dassault Systèmes Excellence Education Center, aiming to set a benchmark for industry-education integration in the industrial software sector, cultivate versatile, application-oriented digital professionals, and empower the development of the regional intelligent manufacturing industry. Attendees included Xu Shansong, Global Executive Vice President and President of Dassault Systèmes for the Asia-Pacific region; Yan Xuezuan, Senior Director of the Technology Consulting Department for Greater China; Cheng Yi, Chairman of Shanghai Huicheng Engineering Technology Service Co., Ltd.; Wang Zhaobao, Chairman of our university; Hu Xiaomei, Party Secretary of our university; and Li Kangju, President of our university.
At the meeting, Wang Zhaobao expressed his gratitude to the two enterprises for their dedicated commitment to developing the projects top-level design. He noted that Shenyang Institute of Technology boasts two years of experience in implementing industry-education integration initiatives, and its management team possesses strong execution capabilities. Leveraging the technological and industrial resources of its partner enterprises, the university will forge a distinctive path for industry-education integration. The project will be implemented in four phases; the university will fully ensure the provision of supporting resources—including facilities, personnel, and management support—to facilitate the smooth progress of the collaboration.
Xu Shansong stated that establishing a dedicated industry-academia-research base reflects the companys commitment to talent development. During his tenure abroad, the company had already begun planning for the large-scale cultivation of industry-specific talent, but this initiative had been stalled due to the lack of supporting practical training platforms. The three-story standalone practical teaching building at Shenyang Institute of Technology perfectly meets the requirements of this project. The company will coordinate its teams to develop tailored teaching and practical training plans for each floor, vigorously advance the projects implementation, and work together to establish a global benchmark for the integration of industry and education in the industrial software sector.
Cheng Yi stated that this tripartite cooperation was the result of extensive in-depth discussions among multiple parties, leading to a mutual consensus and a solid foundation for the collaboration. Shanghai Huicheng specializes in industrial software support services; by leveraging the universitys platform, the company can expand its industry channels and connect with market clients, thereby fostering mutual empowerment between the university and the enterprise. The company would like to express its gratitude to the university for its efficient facilitation of the projects implementation; it will leverage its own industrial strengths to fully support the steady rollout of all cooperation initiatives and commit itself to deepening its long-term collaborative talent development efforts.
Yan Xuezhuan emphasized that this collaboration represents a long-term symbiotic partnership among the three parties, aimed at establishing a sustainable development framework encompassing teaching, research, and industrial services. The three parties will simultaneously launch project promotion campaigns and pool their resources to build a world-class benchmark platform for industry-education integration.
During the ceremony, the university, the enterprise, and Dassault Systèmes signed the "Tripartite Strategic Cooperation Agreement for the Dassault Systèmes Excellence Education Center." Huicheng will be responsible for the centers operational management, while Dassault Systèmes will provide technical support and assistance for market-related activities. Together with our university, they will establish a regional public service platform dedicated to cultivating industrial software talent and supporting enterprise digital transformation. Driven by AI technology, this center will undertake six core functions: delivering specialized academic instruction within the university; conducting digital modeling and simulation empowerment training for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Northeast China; offering industrial software skill certification programs; jointly developing intelligent modeling and simulation agents; organizing industry-wide digital transformation exchange events; and implementing targeted talent development initiatives in collaboration with industry partners.
Additionally, our school has signed a special cooperation agreement with Dassault Systèmes.
This signing marks a significant breakthrough in our universitys strategic initiative to integrate industry and education in the field of industrial software. Centered on complementary resources and collaborative talent development, the three parties will align talent cultivation with industrial demands, thereby injecting sustained momentum into the regional intelligent manufacturing industry through the provision of high-quality digital talent.
Yang Tingting, Senior Legal Counsel at Dassault Systèmes Greater China; Yin Yue, Technical Consultant for the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform; Liu Zhiguo, Regional Manager for the Education Industry; Li Cheng, Director and General Manager of Shanghai Huicheng Engineering Technology Service Co., Ltd.; Xu Ying and Yang Xiuying, Vice Principals of our university; Liu Yang, Director of the Party and Administrative Office; and Tao Lin, Head of the Science and Technology Department, attended the meeting.
Prior to the meeting, the participants visited our universitys Intelligent Manufacturing Industry College, the Automotive Practical Teaching Center, the Huawei-Shenyang Institute of Technology Modern Industry College, the newly constructed Teaching Building No.1, the Shenyang Institute of Technology-Midea Digital Lighthouse College, the Shenyang Institute of Technology-Siemens College, and the KUKA Authorized Industrial Robotics College.
