In order to deepen school-enterprise cooperation and build a two-way driving model between talents and industries, on the morning of May 20, our school and Huawei Technology Co., Ltd. jointly held the "2025 Huawei ICT Talent Double Election Conference" (Shenyang Institute of Technology Station), accurately opening up the "last mile" of school-enterprise cooperation and realizing the two-way pursuit of graduate employment and enterprise development. Xu Xinlin, general manager of Huawei Liaoning Delivery and Service, and Li Kangju, principal of our school, attended the opening ceremony of the double election meeting. 41 outstanding enterprises in the ICT industry in the province and outside the province and graduates of the 2025 and 2026 ICT-related majors participated in this event.
Li Kangju warmly welcomed the arrival of Huawei and Huawei's ecological partner companies. Chenyang Institute of Technology has innovatively introduced the real environment of the enterprise into teaching scenarios, opened cutting-edge courses including 5G network planning and optimization, Hongmeng embedded system design, and built 26 modern laboratories covering 6 major technical directions, providing students with a practical platform for contacting industry cutting-edge technologies, so as to achieve the goals of high-quality development and high-quality employment for students to meet the needs of future industrial development. This double election meeting is an important milestone for school-enterprise collaborative education. Xu Xinlin reviewed the cooperation process between the two sides. He said that since the cooperation, the two sides have launched in-depth cooperation in the cultivation of ICT talents and jointly built Huawei-Shengong Modern Industrial College. This year, the cooperation between the two sides has been further upgraded, and a total of 26 training rooms and Star Joint Laboratory have been built, allowing students to carry out practical learning of information and digital courses in depth, master the most cutting-edge ICT technical knowledge, and explore an innovative path for ICT talent training, providing innovative models and success paradigms for deepening production-education integration and school-enterprise cooperation for higher education in Liaoning Province and even the whole country. In the future, Huawei will continue to strengthen its investment in the education industry, accelerate the deep integration of technological innovation and talent training, cultivate more high-quality first-class talents for the future, promote the digital transformation and high-quality development of the global education industry, and serve the prosperity and development of regional and local digital economy.
On that day, 41 outstanding ICT industry enterprises in and outside the province, including Jiahuan Technology Co., Ltd. and China Communications Construction First Engineering Bureau Co., Ltd., brought more than 300 jobs, covering 104 categories such as Huawei transmission network engineers and big data engineers, involving many popular majors such as artificial intelligence, computer science and technology. The position is highly consistent with the graduates' employment intentions, attracting nearly 2,000 graduates from the 2025 and 2026 ICT-related majors in our school to apply. The participating companies received more than 2,000 graduate resumes on the spot, and more than 100 graduates reached employment intentions with the companies on the spot.
The HRs of the companies participating in the recruitment highly praised this event and the comprehensive quality of our school’s graduates. Liu Weidong, recruitment manager of China Communications Construction First Engineering Bureau Co., Ltd., said that the company's job needs are highly consistent with the employment intentions of applicants, and the students' comprehensive quality is very high. "In the exchange with the students, we felt their solid professional skills, excellent practical ability and enthusiasm for the industry." Five companies, Jiahuan Technology Co., Ltd., Beijing Foreign Enterprise Deke Human Resources Service Shanghai Co., Ltd., Chenyang Zhongsoft Excellent Information Technology Co., Ltd., Hefei Shenzhou Digital Co., Ltd., and Beijing Zhengdaoyuan Technology Co., Ltd., also held a corporate lecture in the school library auditorium, with more than 800 students attending.
