On April 8th, Huawei Campus Open Course (HCOC) was held in the auditorium of the school library. The event, themed "Hongmeng Embarks on a New Era of Smart Ecology in All Scenarios", attracted nearly 800 teachers and students to listen. Huawei Global Training Center Senior Lecturer Wang Haifeng and Liaoning Terminal Business Department Marketing Director Zhang Nan served as keynote speakers to share cutting-edge technologies and exchange workplace experiences, helping students from Shenyang Institute of Technology explore professional growth directions and new opportunities for career development under the digital wave.

At the beginning of the event, Zhang Nan emphasized Huawei's commitment to collaborating with universities, delivering cutting-edge technological knowledge to students, and helping them clarify their career development direction.

Wang Haifeng takes the challenges of the Internet of Things era as a starting point and deeply analyzes the core advantages of the HarmonyOS operating system. He pointed out that HarmonyOS has become a "super brain" connecting intelligent terminals with its three major features of "unified OS elastic deployment, hardware mutual aid resource sharing, and one-time development multi terminal deployment". Through practical cases such as smart homes and in car connectivity, he vividly demonstrated the powerful ability of HarmonyOS to seamlessly collaborate across devices, providing new ideas for technical applications for students majoring in computer science, electronic information, and other fields. Focusing on the "1+8+N" full scenario strategy of HarmonyOS, HarmonyOS Ecological builds a technology standard and business ecosystem network through the "developer community+industry alliance" model, providing students with diversified career choices in research and development, operation, business, and more.

During the interactive session, students actively asked questions covering various aspects such as professional knowledge, application scenarios of HarmonyOS developer tools, technical difficulties in cross device collaboration, and future career planning. Wang Haifeng patiently and meticulously answered each question one by one, and suggested that students accumulate open source code and competition experience, such as learning the HarmonyOS development framework and participating in practical projects in the developer community, to enhance their employment competitiveness. Many students on site joined the pollen club and actively inquired about project participation methods, showing high enthusiasm and strong interest in Hongmeng Ecology.

This open class is a vivid practice of collaborative education between our school and Huawei, gathering expert wisdom and high-quality industry resources to build a bridge between theory and practice for students of Shenyang Institute of Technology, helping them find direction and seize opportunities in the digital wave. In the future, the school will continue to strengthen science and technology education, deepen school enterprise cooperation, and provide diversified activities such as technology sharing and career empowerment to safeguard the growth and success of students at Shenyang Institute of Technology.
