From December 12th to 13th, the Liaoning Provincial Modern Industry College Construction Promotion Conference with the theme of "Promoting the Integration of Industry and Education and Serving the Revitalization and Development" was held in our school. The conference was hosted by the Liaoning Provincial Department of Education and hosted by Shenyang Institute of Technology. Kong Feng pointed out in his speech that the Provincial Department of Education fully implements the important speech spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping at the symposium on promoting the comprehensive revitalization of Northeast China in the new era, especially since the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party and the National Education Conference. Under the correct leadership of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Government, it insists on coordinating the promotion of integrated reforms in education, technology, and talent systems, strengthening the supporting role of education for technological talents, planning the construction of a strong education province in the implementation of the three-year action plan for comprehensive revitalization, and effectively promoting the high-quality development of modern industrial colleges, achieving significant results. Accelerating the construction of modern industrial colleges is not only an inherent requirement for promoting the high-quality development of higher education in our province but also an inevitable choice for promoting economic and social development in our province and even the entire Northeast region. In the future, we must lead the construction of modern industrial colleges in Liaoning in the new era with high-quality party building, jointly promote the construction of modern industrial colleges in our province to achieve more significant results, and become an important force in enhancing the high-quality development of higher education in our province and even the Northeast region, serving the regional industrial development needs, providing a strong guarantee for achieving comprehensive revitalization and advancing the practice of Chinese-style modernization in Liaoning.

Hu Xiaomei stated in her speech that Shenyang Institute of Technology anchors the new era's 'six locations' goal positioning, taking the urgent needs of industrial development and high-quality employment of students as the traction, promoting 'introducing enterprises into education', deepening the integration of industry and education, and constructing a 'six syntypic' education mechanism with multiple subjects participating. This has achieved a close connection between the supply side of talent training and the demand side of industrial development, significantly enhancing students' professional competence and sustainable development capabilities, and continuously increasing the vitality of running schools. In the keynote report session, Li Zhiyi gave a report entitled "Cultivation of Applied Talents and Collaborative Education of Industry and Education from the Perspective of Evaluation"; Pan Baisong gave a report entitled "Exploration and Practice of Innovation in the Integration of Industry, Education and Research in the College of Digital Manufacturing Industry"; Ming Shougang gave a report entitled "Huawei's Practice in Cultivating Application-oriented Talents in the Digital Intelligence Era".

At the meeting, our university and four typical colleges and universities, including Shenyang University of Chemical Technology, Dalian Jiaotong University and Bohai University, respectively introduced the work experience of the construction of modern industrial colleges. Shenyang Institute of Technology has carried out school-enterprise cooperation with global leading enterprises such as Huawei, Midea, Rockwell, Huazhong CNC, KUKA and Inspur, established a Shengong ecosystem, and built 14 modern industry colleges, including Shengong-Huazhong CNC Industry College, Midea-Shenyang Digital Lighthouse College, Inspur Industrial Internet College, Huawei-Shenyang Modern Industry College, Shengong-Siemens College, Intelligent Manufacturing Industry College, KUKA College, and Rockwell Automation College. The construction of the modern industry college of the school has achieved fruitful results in the innovation of talent training mode, the improvement of the quality of professional construction, the development of school-enterprise cooperation courses, the construction of a practical teaching center, the construction of a high-level teaching team, the supply of application-oriented compound talents and the scientific and technological innovation of organized services. Relying on the industrial college to serve the national strategy of promoting new industrialization, serving the strategy of "digital Liaoning, manufacturing strong province" in Liaoning Province, focusing on 22 industrial clusters in Liaoning Province, introducing advanced technology and advanced equipment from enterprises, establishing a school-enterprise collaborative education model of "six total and five integration", establishing a modern industry college council, jointly formulating talent training programs with enterprises, jointly developing courses with schools and enterprises, and cultivating students in the "order-based" and "customized" mode. At the meeting, the participants conducted special discussions on four topics: the reform and innovation of the government school industry enterprise collaborative education mechanism, the construction and sharing of the education platform of the modern industry college, the exploration and practice of the application-oriented talent training model, and the exploration and practice of the construction method of the industry-education integration curriculum system, and summarized the results of the discussion.

On the afternoon of the 12th, the participants visited the Advanced Manufacturing Center of our university, Huawei-Shenyang University of Modern Industry, the Key Laboratory of the National Forestry and Grassland Administration for the Prevention and Control of Dangerous Pests in Northeast Forestry and Grassland, the Rockwell School of Automation, the Joint Innovation Center of the Inspur Industrial Internet College of Shenyang Institute of Technology, the Intelligent High-speed Five-Axis Machining Laboratory, and the KUKA Authorized Industrial Robot College.
